CAKE!!

Sydney baked her very first cake today and she had a great time! The cake tasted awesome as well!

Sydney and her very first cake!

Matt was off work today so we took full advantage of the family time. He and Sydney cooked supper together. Sydney absolutely loves helping in the kitchen (a trait she did NOT inherit from me!) and made the best chicken tender parmesan and caesar salad I've ever eaten :-)

Sydney's Upward Ceremony

Well, Sydney's basketball season is over...finally! Joseph decided to enter into the "terrible 2's" in the middle of her awards ceremony so Matt and my nerves were pretty much shot, but we still had a great time. Of course, when we got home he was all smiles and wanting to play.....lil stinker! HAHA!

Ok, anyone who really knows me knows that I am absolutely PETRIFIED of clowns! Well, apparently I'm not scared of thug clowns...haha. "Chagy" was the entertainment at Sydney's Upward awards ceremony and he was hilarious! Even Joseph was saying, "WHOA!"

Kaitlyn's B-Ball Game

Sydney's Last B-Ball Game

Ok, Sydney is just way too nice for basketball. Just not aggressive at all. Poor thing hadn't scored a point all season. Well, the little stinker decided that would end on the last game! She hit 2 free throws and a rebound shot! I nearly had what we Southerners call a "hissy fit"...LOL! She was all smiles for the rest of the game....mainly because she scored 4 points and they only won by 3. Anyway, I was so proud of her because she is such a good-hearted little player....great sportsmanship. Love you, Sydney!

Surgery for Kaylee

Kaitlyn's little sister is having surgery on her ears in the morning. I am positive everything will be fine but please say a prayer for this special little girl. Kaitlyn is SO protective over her. Also, say a prayer for Amy as well. I've been the mom in this situation before and it's horrible watching your baby leave you to go to surgery and I don't wish that feeling on anyone. While I know the doctors will be taking care of Kaylee, my thoughts and prayers will mainly be with Amy.
